ABOUT US

The MarkeTech Group (TMTG) is the medical technology marketing research firm that has played a key role in a number of landmark advances in the imaging industry. TMTG is responsible, with AHRA, for the development of MICI, the Medical Imaging Confidence Index. TMTG serves imaging OEM vendors, contrast media manufacturers, and PACs companies and ensures that professional imaging managers are fully accessible and represented for imaging technology development, emerging trends, and critical needs identification. TMTG’s goal is to continue to bring the voice of the customer (you) to the key industry decision-makers to help shape the future of the imaging industry.

FAQ: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Panel members have a variety of opportunities to express their opinions. When new members enroll in imagePRO™, they create a detailed profile based on their specific expertise and background. Members are invited to participate in studies that are specifically applicable to them. Members provide input to shape the future of imaging through online surveys, expert opinion in-depth interviews (IDIs), and virtual focus groups (FGs). While you are a panel member you must agree to adhere to the guidelines and rules established for privacy and the mutual protection of this group that are listed in the member agreement. We encourage imagePRO™ members to participate in as many studies as possible, but they are always free to choose which studies to participate in or not. There are ONLY three requirements that panel members need to comply with:

  • Adhere to the imagePRO™ code of ethics
  • Participate in 50% of survey invitations per year
  • Update member/institution profile each year

There are many benefits to becoming a member of this special panel:

Members get early exposure to the newest proposed imaging innovations and their opinions will be heard by OEMs regarding needs, preferences, and pricing for imaging devices, associated supplies, and equipment. Members have a unique opportunity to be active influencers to imaging technology suppliers in a confidential and safe environment. Aggregated input is presented directly to upper management, not simply to sales employees. The input is heard and acted upon by the OEM senior level marketing, research, and product development managers and C-level executives. The imagePRO™ "voice" actually does make a difference in shaping the imaging industry.

For some shorter studies, such as QuickPolls™, members have opportunities to view the results or receive reports of the findings. Given the highly competitive nature of the business and the desire of a client to maintain confidentiality, it is not possible to provide the results for all studies; however, for those studies where results can be presented, TMTG will promptly share this information with members.

Finally, you are directly compensated with cash and reward points for your time and effort in providing your input. You can redeem points for exciting educational tools and forums, high quality merchandise, and AHRA materials. See our catalogue of products at http://selectagiftplan.com/imagepro

Absolutely! As a member of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), The MarkeTech Group strictly adheres to the industry “Code of Standards and Ethics for Survey Research”. Your identity, confidential data, and opinions will only be shared in accordance with these high standards. No individual information will be released and results are shared in aggregate only to ensure your confidentiality.

Because all interactions are confidential, you (and TMTG client companies) are completely free from any reporting requirements under the sunshine laws. For research participation, congressional health care bill H.R. 3590 (March 23, 2010) excludes survey and marketing research from the public disclosure requirements, as long as manufacturers pay honoraria through third parties (e.g., survey and marketing research consultants) and do not know the identities of participating physicians.

In addition, no solicitation will occur from us or our clients as part of your membership.

If, for any reason, you choose to leave the panel, all you need to do is “opt-out”. Panel members are under no contractual obligation to stay in the panel for any prescribed length of time. However, to maintain an active status in imagePRO™, members must meet the Panel membership requirements below:

  • Adhere to imagePRO™ code of ethics
  • Participate in 50% of survey invitations per year
  • Update member/institution profile annually

imagePRO™ surveys are designed to be respectful of members’ time. For every study that you are invited to participate in, you are offered compensation in the form of a combination of cash honorarium, reward points, and/or study reports. If you decide to participate, honoraria are paid quarterly by e-check. In addition, earned "reward points" in your individual imagePRO™ account can be redeemed for branded merchandise, AHRA products, and TMTG Products (tools & reports). See our list of products.
